2010 Summer Session Totals
Our goal for APA Summer Session Big Brothers Big Sisters collections was $1000. I am happy to report we met and exceeded our goal! Click here to see the total donations for the Summer Session!
Central Illinois APA Pool Leagues of the American Pool Players Association (APA) announces a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois, called “Cues For Kids”.
The fundraiser will be supported by collection jugs at all APA events. The collections can be included in the weekly envelope or in the collection jug at each APA event. The APA then will match all contributions, up to $1000, collected during the league year, which is May to May. All nine counties in the league are participating; the fundraising supports local organizations.
The program is expected to become an annual event. The kickoff was at the April, 2010, Spring Awards Presentation. A Big Brothers Big Sisters video was shown.
